Welcome to the NEW Vermont Council on Literacy. We are an all volunteer organization. We support Vermont educators in providing quality literacy instruction for all learners.
The Vermont Council on Literacy fosters a love of literacy through authentic engagement and meaningful connection with high quality, diverse texts. We value individuality and autonomy rooted in student interest and educator expertise. We envision an equitable, anti-racist educational literacy community that supports ALL educators in literacy-based professional learning in pursuit of growth and success for all children.
